Grumund nervously straightened his suit as the\ntrain slowed down, pulling on his jacket. The train car was completely packed -\nit was filled with people going about their business. This was, he figured, how\nthe other half lived... commuting to work along the rail lines. Thankfully,\nnone of them were paying any attention to him. He breathed a sigh of relief;\nGrumund had been on the cover of Time two months ago, and he still wasn't\ncomfortable with the attention. He also still wasn't comfortable dressing up like\nthis, despite it being essential in his new role... and he was torn between his\nneed to look presentable and his embarrassment and desire to keep a low\nprofile. After all, he wasn't used to being in charge of the Falorash Lumber\nCompany, the largest provider of timber East of the Miskotonic River... but he\nwas now, and he needed to do what was best for all of the workers he was\nresponsible for.

The train continued to slow, and Grumund\nclutched his briefcase as the hissing of the brakes finally grew loud enough to\nbe heard over conversations. Then, the car slightly shuddered as it came to a\nfinal stop. Grumund held his bag with both hands as he rose to his feet,\npressing between standing passengers and more than a few wargs as he headed for\nthe door... eager to leave. He stepped onto the platform, adjusting his tie as\nhe scanned the crowd milling outside.

As Grumund adjusted his tie and scanned the\ncrowd, he noticed several people bumping into him as they tried to move past\nhim. He felt awkward and out of place, like a sore thumb sticking out among the\nother commuters. He had lived his whole life as just another face in the\ncrowd... but he wasn't anymore. He had become someone notable, someone who\nstood out.

Shifting uncomfortably, Grumund spotted a\ntall, grey-skinned figure holding up a sign with GRUMUND written on it in\nblocky black letters. He was a tall, muscular example of an orc, with the only\nexception of the two small, almost dainty tusks parting his lower lips, giving\nhim a nearly feminine look.

Grumund hesitantly approached the orc, and the\nother man's eyes locked onto him, extending his hand for a handshake. \"Mr.\nGrumund, I presume?\" the orc asked in a deep, gruff voice.

\"Yes, that's me,\" Grumund replied,\nfeeling distinctly uncomfortable. \"And you are?\"

\"Faulon, at your service,\" the orc\nsaid, giving a slight bow. \"I've been sent by Pointed Ears and Big Hearts\nto be your driver while you're in town. I'm going to escort you to our\nheadquarters.\"

Grumund nodded, feeling a mix of relief and\ncuriosity. At least he didn't have to feel like he was wandering anymore... it\nwas good that they had sent someone. He was grateful for the escort. \"Lead\non,\" he said.

Faulon held out his hand to take Grumund's\nbag, but the elf refused. \"No, thank you,\" he said politely, keeping\na firm grip on the handle. \"I'd rather keep it with me.\"

Faulon nodded in understanding and led the way\nthrough the busy train station. They weaved past vendors selling various goods\nand commuters rushing to their destinations. The smell of freshly brewed coffee\nfilled the air, mixed with the scent of fried food from a nearby stand. Despite\nthe bustling atmosphere, Grumund couldn't shake off the feeling that he stood\nout like a sore thumb among the crowd. He was grateful for Faulon's presence,\nas it made him feel slightly more at ease in this unfamiliar environment.

As they approached the parking lot, Grumund\nnoticed a sleek black limousine waiting for them, its engine purring quietly. A\nnaked elf woman with honey-blonde hair sat in the passenger seat, wearing a\nmetal collar around her neck. She looked serene, almost ethereal, as she gazed\nout the window. The sight of her made Grumund uneasy; he knew that elves were\ndangerous and unpredictable.

\"Who is she?\" Grumund asked,\ngesturing towards the elf.

Faulon smiled proudly. \"That's Honey, my\npet,\" he said, opening the back door of the limousine for Grumund.

Grumund hesitated before getting in, unsure\nabout having such a creature so close by. \"Is she... safe?\" he asked\ncautiously.

Faulon chuckled. \"Oh, don't worry about\nher,\" he assured Grumund. \"She's very well-behaved.\" With that,\nhe closed the door gently, giving Grumund some space while maintaining a\nrespectful distance.

As Faulon slid into the driver's seat, Grumund\ncouldn't help but feel a bit anxious about how close the dangerous elf was. He\ntried to push those feelings aside as the limousine began to glide away from\nthe train station.

As Grumund settled into the luxurious black\nleather seat of the limousine, he took in the elegant interior. The carpet was\na rich red, and the wood paneling exuded an air of sophistication. He couldn't\nhelp but admire the opulence surrounding him; perhaps this was necessary to\nmake some of their wealthy donors feel at ease. Grumund reached for the mirror\nlocated on the back of the driver's seat, angling it towards himself to check\nhis appearance.

He examined his reflection, taking in his fit\norc male figure and dark green skin. His large tusks protruded from his lower\nlips, giving him a distinctive appearance. Grumund smoothed down his black and\nwhite suit, ensuring that the sharp cut of the jacket and trousers was still\nperfect. He ran a hand through his thick, black hair, making sure it was neatly\nparted to one side. Satisfied with his appearance, Grumund put the mirror away\nand leaned back against the plush seat.

The limousine glided smoothly through the city\nstreets, the sounds of traffic and pedestrians muffled by the thick windows.\nGrumund tried to focus on the meeting ahead, but his thoughts kept wandering\nback to Honey, the elf woman sitting just a few feet away from him. He couldn't\nshake the feeling that there was something dangerous about her despite Faulon's\nassurances.

Grumund's eyes flickered towards the front\nseat, expecting to see Honey sitting serenely beside Faulon. To his surprise\nand discomfort, she was nowhere to be seen. His heart skipped a beat as he felt\nan irrational surge of fear – what if she had disappeared to come after him\nwith one of those stone-tipped arrows or obsidian knives that elves were known\nfor?

But then he realized the truth.

Honey wasn't missing... the blonde elf had\nbent down across the front seat, her naked body leaning over the central\nconsole... and her face was in the driver's lap, giving oral sex to Faulon as\nhe drove. The beautiful elf had the driver's cock out and in her mouth,\nswallowing it and licking along its length with a practiced grace.

\"Welcome to Pointed Ears and Large\nHearts, Mr. Grumund,\" Drauug said, his eyes twinkling with excitement.\n\"I'm Drauug, the director of this charity... and I'm thrilled that you've\ndecided to partner with us in our preservation efforts for endangered\nspecies.\"

Grumund nodded, taking in the sight of the\nsprawling farm before them. \"I haven't decided on that just yet,\" he\nwarned, still feeling somewhat uncomfortable in his new role. \"But it's\nstill a privilege to be here. I must admit... this is all quite new to me, but\nI'm interested in doing whatever I can to help.\"

Drauug grinned, revealing a row of sharp\nteeth. \"I appreciate your dedication, but I feel very confident that you\nare going to sign on... and I promise you won't regret it.\" The orc's\nsmile was broad and devastating. \"This partnership is truly a match made\nin heaven. We've been struggling to maintain our preservation efforts on a\nlimited budget, and your support will make all the difference.\"

\"Do you only work with elves?\"\nGrumund asked.

\"Mostly,\" the director said as they\nwalked along the well-manicured paths between bushes, Drauug's smile continuing\nto beam as he explained. He gestured towards a gap in the bushes where Grumund\ncould see a large enclosure where an elf was tending to a group of rare\nrabbits. \"We do have other rescue-species rehabilitation projects. We\nrescue injured animals from the wild and nurse them back to health, and for\nbetter or worse, elves are quite useful tools for this. They are rather\nnurturing to the nature around themselves.\"

Grumund raised an eyebrow, finding the sight\nof the elf caring for the animals surprising. \"I wasn't aware that elves\ncould be so... domesticated,\" he said, choosing his words carefully.

Drauug chuckled, \"Oh, they're not exactly\ndomesticated, Mr. Grumund. But we do our best to teach them the importance of\ncoexistence. As you know, elves can be quite aggressive as civilization expands\ninto their territory. We need to find ways for us all to live together\npeacefully, or soon, there won't be any more elves.\"

\"Some people...\" Grumund said with a\nglance to the side. \"Like some of my workers… and their families... might\nprefer that.\"

\"Taking vengeance against animals for\nacting in their nature might be natural,\" Drauug said firmly. \"But\nit's not good, and we shouldn't find it acceptable. We should find a way to\ncoexist, instead.\" They continued walking, and Drauug pointed out another\nenclosure where a group of elves were carefully planting seeds in a garden.\n\"Look at this, for example. This is our farming project. Some of the\nbetter-behaved elves help make food for the rest, using environmentally\nfriendly and small-scale methods.\"

Grumund nodded, impressed with the initiative.\n\"I suppose it's important to preserve their traditional ways while\nadapting to modern times, isn't it?\"

Drauug agreed. \"As much as\npossible,\" he said with a nod.

He led Grumund into the large building in the\ncenter of the manicured lawn around the facility. \"I'm truly impressed by\nwhat you've accomplished here,\" Grumund admitted, shaking his head in\namazement. \"It's inspiring to see such commitment to protecting these\nanimals.\"

Drauug beamed with satisfaction. \"Thank\nyou, Mr. Grumund. Our work here is vital, and with your help, we can continue\nto make a difference. Together, we'll ensure that future generations can enjoy\nthe wonders of these incredible creatures.\"

Drauug led Grumund into the facility, and they\ntalked a little bit more as they walked down the hallways. The building was\nutterly modern... it looked much like one of his own office buildings, with\nsleek glass walls and fluorescent lights illuminating the space. The orcs\nworking inside were engaged in various tasks, some typing away at their\ncomputers while others held conversations on phones. Grumund couldn't help but\nfeel impressed by the dedication and professionalism displayed by the staff.

\"If I'm going to be a contributor,\"\nGrumund said, \"I need to know what my money will be used for. I need to\nsee how it's being spent.\"

Drauug nodded understandingly. \"Of\ncourse, Mr. Grumund. As the director of operations here, I'd be more than happy\nto show you around our facility.\"

They left the office behind, walking through\nmore sterile hallways. They passed by rooms filled with some kind of lab\nequipment that Grumund couldn't even begin to understand, with a handful of\norcs running tests... clearly some sort of medical facility. Eventually, they\narrived at a heavily secured door guarded by two burly orc guards. It was\nmarked as the Kennels.

Drauug flashed a badge, and the guards stepped\naside, allowing them to enter. The director flashed Grumund a knowing smile\nbefore he pushed the door open... and the businessman followed him. The smell\nhit him first. The room smelled like a lot of wild animals, with a scent of\ndirt, waste, and musk. Looking around, the large room was completely filled\nwith row after row of cages. Each cage contained a pretty, naked elf girl,\ntheir pointed ears poking out from their messy, matted hair.

Grumund's eyes widened in surprise as he took\nin the scene before him. The elves were all different ages and appearances, but\nthey shared a common air of melancholy. Some sat listlessly in their cages,\nwhile others rocked restlessly back and forth. A few tugged furiously at the\niron bars that kept them enclosed.

\"This... this is unexpected,\"\nGrumund stammered, his eyes darting from one cage to another.

Drauug smiled sympathetically. \"I\nunderstand your surprise, Mr. Grumund. But allow me to explain. These elves\nhave been captured from various locations where they posed a threat to orc\nsettlements. We bring them here to rehabilitate them and teach them how to\ncoexist peacefully with civilized folks.\"

Grumund looked on skeptically as Drauug\npointed at an elf in one of the cages. The elf hesitantly crawled a little\ncloser, her eyes cast downward. She was petite, with delicate features and fair\nskin. Her body was slender and toned, with a lithe grace that reminded Grumund\nof a forest creature.

\"This one here is Elara,\" Drauug\nsaid, putting a hand confidently through the cage bars and running it through\nhis hair. \"She's been with us for several months now, and she's made great\nprogress.\"

Elara looked up at Grumund, her eyes filled\nwith a mixture of fear and hope. Grumund found himself feeling unexpectedly\ndrawn to her vulnerability. She looked so... sweet and sad. Nothing like the\ndangerous elves he had seen in the wild.

He knew that his own family's lumber company\nhad unwittingly contributed to the elves' plight. When they discovered an elf\nvillage while clear-cutting a forest, it led to a violent confrontation where\nseveral orcs were injured while subduing the villagers. The last thing they\nneeded was bad publicity from killing elves, especially with so many orcs\nactively protesting the destruction of their habitats.

Grumund realized that investing in a large and\neffective elf conservation project could be exactly what his company needed to\nimprove its image. He saw potential in Pointed Ears and Big Hearts' facility\nand its mission to rehabilitate the elves. Maybe, just maybe, they could make a\ndifference and ensure the survival of these beautiful creatures.

Drauug seemed to sense Grumund's thoughts.\n\"We're doing everything we can to help these elves adapt to a world that's\nrapidly changing around them,\" he said, gesturing to the cages filled with\ncaptives. \"But we need support from people like you to continue our work.\nWith your backing, we can expand our facilities, hire more staff, and hopefully\nsave more elves from a tragic fate.\"

Grumund nodded thoughtfully. He understood the\nimportance of preserving the elves' heritage and ensuring their survival. It\nwas clear that the current approach—capturing and containing them—wasn't ideal,\nbut it was a necessary first step. If they could domesticate elves, then there\nwas hope for a better future.

As Grumund studied Elara, his mind drifted\nacross what he knew about the creatures. Elves were, of course, a prominent\nfeature in orcish mythology, no different than dragons and krakens and rocs and\nother dramatic things. Unlike those other creatures, however, elves actually\nexisted, so the mythology was based on something at the very least... but the\ntruth was nowhere near as dramatic. In the legends, they were an entire\ncivilization, one renowned for their intelligence and sophistication, with\nancient societies that rivaled even those of the orcs in terms of culture and\nscience. According to some of those fanciful tales, the elves and the orcs had\ngone to war... and the elves had been defeated, creating a path to orc\nascension. Now, the elves were more like wild creatures than the advanced\nbeings they used to be.

That was what the legends said, anyway. No one\nhad ever found any evidence that those legends were true, though. They were a\nferal group of animals, and just because they formed communities of their own\ndidn't mean that they were intelligent, any more than a family of prairie dogs\nor ants, just because they lived in harmony. They certainly possessed an animal\ncunning and could be quite clever, like some species of the pale-skinned apes\nthat lived in the jungles and used tools. Still, their intelligence was much\nmore akin to the crafty resourcefulness of goblins rather than the refined\nintellect of the orcs.

There certainly was some basis in reality for\nthese beliefs, though. The traditional habitat of the elves - the vast, lush\nforests – had nearly vanished, replaced by the unstoppable march of\nurbanization and industrial development. The elves, unable or unwilling to\nadapt to these changes, found themselves on the brink of extinction. This lack\nof territory, combined with how dangerous feral elves could be, led to frequent\nconflicts when orcs encroached upon their territory. It meant that farmers,\nranchers, and loggers were often on the front lines of the battle between\ncivilization and the dangerous elves.

It was clear to anyone paying attention that\nthe relentless expansion of orc society had pushed the elves into progressively\ndesperate situations, leaving them with few options for survival. If nothing\ndrastic was done soon, experts feared that the elves would undoubtedly\ndisappear from the world entirely, becoming yet another footnote in the\never-evolving tapestry of history. However, the orc population was still\ngrowing... they needed more farmland, more houses, more power plants, more,\nmore, and more. They weren't going to stop, and the elves couldn't survive\nunless they did.

It was this dire outlook that led to the\ncreation of conservation efforts such as Pointed Ears and Big Hearts, seeking\nto preserve what remained of the elven species. Right now, they were basically\nzoo animals. The hope, according to their literature, was that over time, the\nelves could be taught to coexist peacefully with their orcish neighbors.\nGrumund watched Elara closely, taking in her delicate features and melancholy\nexpression. She seemed so fragile, so vulnerable, a far cry from the fierce and\nferal creatures that roamed the forests and had hurt his men.

As Grumund observed Elara, his thoughts\ndrifted back to his past and the path that had led him to this moment. He\nremembered his father, a seasoned entrepreneur who had built the Falorash\nLumber Company from the ground up. Grumund had started as a humble manager in\nthe family business, learning the ins and outs of the trade.

Throughout that time, they had, of course, had\nseveral violent run-ins with wild elves that used their rudimentary tools to\nattack or damage the logging equipment. That was common and expected... they\ncouldn't exactly just shoot endangered animals, so they needed to scare them\naway instead. Everything had changed, however, when they had unexpectedly\ndiscovered an elf village during the process of getting timber to meet a recent\norder... it had been so well disguised they hadn't even realized it was there\nuntil one cut-down tree had taken another with it, damaging the concealing\nweave of vegetation and exposing the village beneath it.

The unexpected find had quickly become a\ndisaster. The elves attacked violently, striking back against the invasion of\ntheir home, and several entire logging crews were laid siege to inside their\nheavy equipment. If a security detail hadn't already been nearby, it might have\nbeen a catastrophe... they might have all been killed instead of just a few\ninjured. Thankfully, the security team was very efficient... while a few more\nwere hurt, they managed to subdue most of the elves and force them into cages rather\nthan let them flee into the woods to strike at the loggers again.

The fight had still been an awful mess.\nAlthough none of the endangered elves had perished, multiple females had been\ninjured, and the press got a hold of the incident. Protestors had really sunk\ntheir teeth into it, blaming the Falorash Lumber Company for its carelessness\nand complicity in the destruction of elven habitat, even as the families of the\ninjured lumberjacks needed to be compensated.

The aftermath of the incident weighed heavily\non Grumund's father. He had decided that it was best for him to step aside and\nlet a new face handle the company going forward, hoping that that would allow\nthem to turn the page and stop the protestors from burning down the company his\nfamily had built over a century. Grumund hoped that he could guide the company\ntowards a better future, one that satisfied the angry mob.

It wasn't going to be easy, though. Just a\nchange of face wouldn't do it. In the wake of a disaster like that, Grumund\nknew that they needed something to improve their public image. Many orcs were\nvery invested in ecological conservation these days, and they hadn't been on\nthe front line facing attacks from elves... they actively protested any\ndestruction of elf forests. Further protests could be catastrophic for the\nbusiness.

In looking for his solution, Grumund had\nconsidered a few options... but the one that seemed the most attractive to him\nwas Pointed Ears and Big Hearts. The conservation organization was very popular\namong young orcs and the older ecological activists, and its dedication to\npreserving the remaining elf population was well known and beyond reproach. In\nthem, he saw an opportunity to not only bolster the company's reputation but\nalso contribute to a meaningful cause. His company wasn't going to stop running into elves in the forest... Maybe they could\nfind a way to handle other such contact with elves in a less disastrous way. By\ninvesting in this company, the Falorash Lumber Company could show that they\nwere committed to finding a balance between their operations and the well-being\nof the elves.

Hopefully, one that didn't get his people\nhurt.

As Drauug led Grumund further on through the\nroom, the businessman heard the distinct sound of whips cracking, echoing\nthrough the cavernous space. Grumund couldn't help but feel a sense of unease\nas he followed Faulon past rows of cages containing elves—so many of them, yet\nso few. There were tens of thousands of elf women here, but there were billions\nof orcs, and this was the largest conservation facility he knew of.

Some of the elves he passed were being fed by\norc handlers, helping the pointy-eared women to eat from their hands. Others,\nhowever, were being disciplined for their behavior. Many of those were outside\nof their cages, chained up, and bare-chested orcs slashed leather whips across\ntheir exposed flesh.

Grumund turned to Faulon with concern.\n\"Why are some of them being whipped?\" he asked, his voice filled with\ntrepidation. \"Isn't that cruel?\"

Faulon stopped in front of one such display.\nJust a few feet away, a group of chained elves cowered in fear as an orc\nhandler disciplined one of them with a whip. \"It's aversion\ntraining,\" Drauug explained, his tone matter-of-fact. \"For a few\ndifferent reasons. It seems harsh, but it's very necessary. Most elves are\nmalnourished when they arrive from starving out there in the world, so we need\nthem to eat and rebuild themselves. We try to get them high grade meat, but\nnewcomers, unused to captivity, usually refuse to eat anything at first, or\nthey just pick at the berries and fruits a little.”

“Those poor things…” Grummund said.

“Yes. They are unused to it and afraid, so we\nneed to use pain as a method to motivate them. The elves are so ill suited to\ntheir environment they don’t even seem to hunt for food anymore, and don’t\nimmediately recognize meat as food. If we don’t use the whips to motivate them,\nsome elves starve to death before they it figure out.” He shook his head.\n“Thankfully, after they learn the food won’t hurt them, they usually start\neating after a few weeks without more encouragement. Others…” He pointed at a\nfew elves being whipped. “Those elves were attacking the bars of their cages,\nor assaulting our staff as they fed them, or continually refusing to eat at\nall.\"

Grumund watched, horror-stricken, as the whip\nleft red marks on the elf's pale skin. The elf let out a whimper but didn't dare retaliate. Grumund knew\nthat elves could be aggressive, but these ones hardly seemed ferocious to him.\nSeeing them being punished like this made him a little uncomfortable.

Drauug noticed and rested a hand on his\nguest's shoulder. \"You see, Mr. Grumund, these elves are feral animals. If\nthey are going to coexist with orcs, we need to train them how to behave in a\ncivilized society. This is what happens when elves are allowed to run free\nthrough orc streets and cities, digging through trash and stealing food.\"

Grumund winced as another whip cracked, the\nsound sending chills down his spine. He couldn't help but feel sympathy for the\nelves despite their violent nature. \"Isn't the ideal of conservation to\nreintroduce the elves to the wild?

\"Yes, of course,\" Drauug sighed, a\nnote of sadness creeping into his voice. \"Unfortunately, releasing elves\nback into the wild is almost impossible. Even if we could manage to heal any\ninjury and give them enough training to keep them away from orcs so they could\nbe released back into their natural habitat, there's very little wild habitat\nleft for them to be returned to. They would most likely end up back in orc\ncivilization, searching for food, and find themselves in conflict once more –\neither hurting orcs or getting themselves killed.\"

Drauug led Grumund through a set of double\ndoors into another room, and as soon as they entered, the sound of elves\nscreaming out filled the air. \"This doesn't sound good,\" Grumund\nmuttered, concerned about the welfare of the elves.

Drauug placed a reassuring hand on Grumund's\nshoulder. \"They're not in pain,\" he explained calmly. \"Elves\ndon't feel pain the same way orcs do. For them, discomfort is only\nfleeting.\"

Grumund paused for a moment, absorbing\nDrauug's words. He thought back to the cages they had just seen and realized\nthat almost every elf there had been whipped dozens of times. He hadn't noticed\na single scar on any of them. As they ventured deeper into the room, Grumund\nsaw plenty of elves lying around, beaten and bruised. Most of them were\nextremely pregnant, their bellies swollen like ripe fruit, their pointed ears\nwiggling as the orcs walked past. Some of the elves held their stomachs\nprotectively, their faces twisted in discomfort.

\"What's going on here?\" Grumund\nasked hesitantly, his voice laced with concern.

Drauug smiled and ran a hand through his\nthinning hair. \"These are the breeding elves,\" he said, his tone\nsolemn. \"Elves are difficult to breed... at least, to breed new elves.\nSome good examples are kept here to reproduce and ensure the survival of their\nspecies.\"

As Grumund observed the scene, an elf male in\ngolden jewelry settled behind a young elf who was struggling to escape. He\nexpected that orcs might help hold her down but was surprised when he saw four\nother pregnant elf females holding her down instead.

Grumund felt a mix of curiosity and unease\nabout what he was witnessing. He turned to Drauug, seeking answers.\n\"What's happening?\" he asked.

\"You have to understand that Elves aren't\nonly endangered because of orc expansion and habitat destruction,\" Drauug\nexplained. \"They are also in danger because of quirks in the way they\nbreed.\" The orc gestured around at the pregnant group of elves. \"The\namount of magic in elf blood means that they can be bred by just about\nanything,\" he continued, lowering his voice. \"That means all kinds of\npredatory wild animals are a major threat. Once when there were more of them,\nsexual predation from wild animals was probably less dangerous... but that\nisn't the world we live in anymore.\"

He shuddered at the thought, and Grumund felt\na chill run down his spine. \"For example,\" Drauug went on, \"if\nthe giant spiders that haunt the deserts to the South capture one, or if one of\nthe disgusting goblin tribes of the mountains catches one, they will keep that\nelf captive - alive - for decades. They will breed her over and over, creating\nhundreds of monsters that will come out of the woods and threaten good, honest\norc-folk.\"

Grumund felt a chill down his spine as he\nconsidered the implications of what Drauug had just explained. \"So you\naren't just protecting the elves from us,\" Grumund said, his eyebrows\nraising. \"You are helping to protect them from themselves and the monsters\nin the woods, too!\"

\"Exactly. This is for the best,\"\nDrauug agreed, nodding his head solemnly. \"We need to ensure the survival\nof their species, and this is a critical way we can help.\"

Grumund couldn't argue with that logic, even\nif the situation seemed bleak. He turned his attention back to the male elf,\nwho was still behind the pinned elf woman while she struggled against the other\npregnant women. \"What's going on with that?\" he asked curiously.

Drauug looked over with a small smile playing\nat the corners of his lips. \"Well, how much do you know about how elves\nbreed?\"

Grumund shook his head. \"Almost\nnothing,\" he admitted.

\"Well, elves aren't like orcs. They take\na very long time to breed... Orc pregnancy only lasts six months, but a baby\nelf takes close to three years to come to term. With a pregnancy like that,\nit's no wonder their population is nearly 80% female... in the wild, males will\noften impregnate multiple women.\"

He hesitated for a moment before continuing.\n\"But even so, in the wild males are even less common than that now. There\nare so much fewer of them than there should be. It seems other predators\nconsider elf men sexual competition and kill them when they can. When we trap\none of them, we train them well... it's a critical part of keeping the elves\nfrom extinction to encourage whatever male elves we have to breed more.\"\nDrauug gestured towards the male elf. \"This is how we treat the men after\nthey are trained.\"

Grumund digested this information, feeling\nslightly bewildered. The whole situation seemed so surreal, yet it made sense\nin a twisted way. \"They really can be trained to do that?\" he\nmuttered, unable to hide his surprise. \"It seems a little harsh.\"

Drauug shrugged nonchalantly. \"Elf males\nget trained into it pretty naturally... even in the wild, I think the reduced\nnumber of them means that elf females compete for the men, and that means that\neven before we trap them they are used to being spoiled. We just spoil them a\nlittle more... they get treated like kings around here. It doesn't take them\nlong to get into their duty of keeping their elf harems pregnant,\" he\nexplained, watching the scene before them with interest.

Grumund felt his head spinning as he tried to\nprocess the information. It seemed so unbelievable, yet the evidence was right\nin front of him. The elf male did not seem like he was troubled or in pain, and\nhe was clearly enjoying himself... his hands roaming over the naked bodies of\nthe pregnant females beneath him.

Drauug watched, a bit of a smug expression on\nhis face. \"I've noticed that they seem to have a bit of a social structure\nin captivity. The elf male will pick a few bitches to favor and treat better\nthan the others. For this one, those are the ones holding the new bitch\ndown.\"

Grumund watched the expression on the pregnant\nelf women. They seemed angry and a little violent, holding the other female\ndown aggressively... but none of that aggression was being directed at the orcs\nlike he usually saw or at the elf male breeder. Their faces were flushed, and\nthey growled at the pinned elf.

\"The bitches he picks as his favorites\ntend to become very loyal to him and eager to do whatever he wants,\"\nDrauug added. \"If they don't, I've seen an elf male replace one of his\nprize breeders with a new elf if he gets disappointed. It means the elf women\nare eager to please the harem's stud.\"

As Drauug continued to explain the dynamics of\nelf breeding, Grumund's attention was drawn back to the scene unfolding before\nhim. The elf male thrust forward with a grunt, and the pinned female let out a\npiercing scream.

Intrigued by this new development, Grumund\nturned to Drauug. \"This one was a virgin?\" he inquired.

Drauug nodded, his eyes fixed on the breeding\nsession. \"Yes, we've named her Nala. Drauug chuckled and nudged the younger orc.\n\"It's funny, isn't it?\" he said. \"Elves are usually more gentle\nthan this when they mate in the wild, but not that much... not anymore...\"\nHe trailed off, gesturing towards the frenzied activity unfolding before them.\n\"Even outside of captivity, competition and dwindling numbers have made\ntheir breeding rituals more violent, more dominant. It's survival of the\nfittest, I suppose.\"

Grumund raised an eyebrow, his curiosity\nfurther piqued by Drauug's explanation. \"So, what you're saying is that\nthese elves are driven by instinct to be rougher with their mates when they're\nin captivity?\"

Drauug nodded, a smirk playing at the corners\nof his lips. \"They certainly are. Natural, I suppose. The female elves are\nless comfortable when they are new here, so they resist more when they are\nbred. The males, the same way, naturally want to breed as quickly and\nefficiently as they can. Since we need that to keep the elf population up, we\ndon't stop it. It's fascinating to watch, isn't it?\"

Grumund couldn't deny the raw power of the\nscene before him. The elf male, driven by instinct and desire, pounded into the\nhelpless female with a fury that was both captivating and terrifying. Grumund felt a pang of guilt and concern for\nthe elf female. His curiosity piqued, he turned to Drauug. \"Does anyone\nhere know anything about what they are saying?\" he asked, hoping to\ncommunicate with the distressed creature.

Drauug let out a hearty laugh, shaking his\nhead disapprovingly. \"Elves? Language? Ah, Mr. Grumund, you shouldn't\nbelieve every rumor you hear online. They don't have a language.\"

\"Really?\" Grumund felt a wave of\ndisappointment wash over him. He had hoped to connect with the female elf, to\nunderstand her fear, and perhaps offer some comfort. Drauug's dismissive\nresponse, however, made it clear that such hopes were futile. \"Some of my\nloggers swear they have heard them communicating with each other, making plans,\nyelling instructions to one another.\"

\"Oh, they communicate,\" he said\nmatter-of-factly. \"But so do wargs and birds. Elves are just animals, my\nfriend. They are clever animals, pretty animals... but animals nonetheless. I\nknow, it would be nice if the legends were true... but they aren't.\"

As Grumund stepped inside the next room, the\nsound and scent of breeding washed over him. The sign on the door had labeled\nit as the Run, but that description came entirely short of letting him envision\nwhat was on the other side. Here, rows upon rows of elves were strapped down to\nbars; their bodies contorted into unnatural positions as furry wargs at least\nthree times their size relentlessly raped them. Every one of them was strapped\ndown to the racks and kept immobile on their hands and knees while the furry\nwolf creatures pumped away at the thoroughly-pregnant elf women. The sound of\nflesh slapping against flesh filled the air, along with the muffled cries and\nwhimpers of the elves.

Grumund felt a little uncomfortable as he\nwatched the brutal act unfold before him... but he was also a little excited as\nhe realized what he was looking at. \"I know what this is!\" he said,\nhis voice getting a bit faster. \"This is where you are breeding hounds,\nright?\"

Drauug nodded, a cruel smile playing on his\nlips. \"Yes, Mr. Grumund... you know about that, do you?\"

\"Of course,\" Grumund confirmed.\n\"I grew up with a pair of them.\" The orc knew a lot about the\nanimals... and he was very familiar with wargs, too. The furry wolves were the\noldest friends of the orc race, critical companions. Their loyalty and strength\nhad been invaluable throughout orc history, and he used them in his logging\noperations... but they were fairly vicious and short-tempered, not really\nsuitable to be kept as domestic pets. The hounds, on the other hand, are\nextremely well-behaved animals, as clever and kind as any orc could ask for.

\"They are fantastic companions, are they\nnot?\" Drauug said with a grin.

\"Absolutely,\" Grumund agreed as they\nkept walking. The pair of orcs walked past dozens of rapes in progress, their\nswollen bellies swaying back and forth along with their milk-dribbling breasts.\nWhen they finally reached the end of the room, they arrived at a kennel where a\nbunch of puppies were being tended to by a few orcs.

Several excitedly walked over, barking, and\npleading for attention. Grumund knelt down and gently petted one of the\npuppies. Its soft fur made him feel momentarily content and comfortable as a\nchild again. \"I do love these pups,\" he said with a grin.

\"So do must orcs,\" Drauug agreed,\nwatching Grumund with interest. \"This is one of our primary sources of\nfunding... people choosing to adopt purebred hounds.\"

Grumund looked up, his eyes meeting Drauug's.\n\"What other sources of funding do you have?\"

Drauug smiled, his sharp teeth gleaming in the\ndim light. \"I will show you, Mr. Grumund. Come with me.\"

Grumund couldn't help but feel a sense of\nanticipation as he eagerly followed Drauug out of the room, leaving the cries\nof the elves and the brutal coupling of wargs and elf women echoing in his\nears. He found himself growing more excited with each step, eager to see what\nelse Pointed Ears and Big Hearts had to offer.

Grumund felt his heart race in anticipation as\nthey entered the next room, which was labeled \"Dairy.\" Drauug,\nhowever, pushed through them confidently, revealing a sight that made Grumund's\npulse quicken even further. Grumund couldn't help but stare in surprise as\nhe imagined how long those three years must have felt for them. \"What do\nyou do with the milk?\"

\"They really are happy here,\" Drauug\nsaid with a grin, pulling his hand away and wiping it off on the pregnant elf's\nwhimpering lips. \"As I understand it, they slip into a kind of bliss after\na while. It's a fairly nice, docile way for them to spend three years while the\nbaby grows... and afterward, we take a look at how their behavior has improved\nand decide if we should put them back in the harem to make another one.\"

Drauug led Grumund out of the milking room and\ninto another room, this one filled with the sounds of moaning. \"This is\nour adoption center,\" he said as he entered the room. \"We run a\ncareful analysis on every elf we get here as we train them. Most are most\nuseful to our conservation efforts if we breed them, either with captive elves\nor warg or one of a half dozen other things... but some aren't fertile, and\nsometimes others are so pretty that they make an amazing advertisement for the\nincredible work we do if we can get them outside of these walls. Of those, not\nall of them have the docile temperament suitable for training and\ndomestication... but some of them do. Here, we allow well-vetted orcs to find a\nsuitable elf to keep as their very own.

As Grumund entered, he paused in shock, his\neyes wide as he took in the rows of naked elves. Instead of being completely\nbare, they wore skimpy silk garments that seemed more like decorations than\nactual clothes. It was such an unusual sight that Grumund couldn't help but\nmarvel at it. His mind wandered for a moment, imagining how ridiculous those\nsilky things would look on an orc woman. But somehow, they kind of suited the\nelves, accentuating their slender frames and delicate features.

Drauug noticed Grumund's surprise and\nchuckled. \"You're wondering why they're wearing clothes, aren't you?\"

Grumund blushed, realizing he had been caught\nstaring. \"Well, yes, I am,\" he admitted. \"It's just... it seems\nso unusual for elves to wear anything at all.\"

Drauug grinned, looking around at the elves\nwith pride. \"I know it's silly, but I think it's pretty. It's part of our mission to find homes for these\nbeautiful creatures, after all.\"

Grumund considered this, impressed with the\nrespect Drauug had for the wellbeing of the elves under his charge. The elves,\nhowever, were wearing more than silks - Their nipples were adorned with rings,\nand delicate chains connected similar rings through their clitorises to a\nshared central post. The incredibly minimalist restraint allowed the creatures\njust enough freedom to reach some of the orc males walking through the room.

Grumund watched Faugla with curiosity, unsure\nhow to feel about the situation. \"Is that a good thing?\" he asked\nhesitantly.

Drauug nodded. \"Absolutely. The more\nprecious and useful the most elite frontier guards see elves as being, the more\nlikely they are to capture them instead of killing them when they raid.\"\nHe chuckled, adding, \"It's a win-win situation for everyone\ninvolved.\"

Grumund considered Drauug's words, but he was\nstill unsure if he agreed with the orc's reasoning. His gaze drifted to another\npairing across the room, where an orc man was violently fucking an elf bent\nover a large, comfortable-looking pillow.

Grumund decided to step further, continuing to\nwatch the scene unfold before him as he tried to process everything he was\nseeing. His eyes kept coming back to one especially beautiful elf with red\nhair, just a few feet away... but he didn't want to stare, so he kept his gaze\nmoving. As he watched, a question popped into his mind. \"Drauug,\"\nGrumund called out, tearing his gaze away from the beautiful redhead.\n\"Why... why are all the elves pierced like they are?\"

Drauug laughed a little, running his hands\nthrough his thinning hair in a bit of embarrassment. \"Well, the nipple\npiercings are simple and obvious enough. It marks them as infertile, and the\npiercings would stop the pumps from fitting onto them. Avoids any mistake when\nwe're processing so many.\" He shrugged. \"Although sometimes they do get pregnant anyway, and the elf seed just didn't take...\nbut we figure those ones were just destined to bear orc children, you\nknow?\"

\"Makes sense,\" Grumund agreed,\nstealing another glance at the pierced elves across the room. \"And the\nothers?\"

Drauug grinned wolfishly, a hint of pride in\nhis eyes. \"Ah, those are quite clever, if I do say so myself. We used to\nhave a problem with the elves resisting being taken away from the sanctuary\nwhen another orc claimed them... they didn't understand that they had been\ntaken away. They would fight and struggle to stay in the safety of their\nfamiliar surroundings. We tried a few things to make the transition easier, but\nthen we started using clit rings...\"

He trailed off, gesturing toward the elf\ngetting fucked in front of them, and he snapped his fingers. \"They get it\njust like that. Elves might just be animals, but even an animal understands\nwhen her sex is leashed to another being that she belongs to them. Once we\nstarted using the rings, the problem of elves resisting capture practically\ndisappeared.\"

Across the room, Grumund noticed a couch in\nthe corner where one orc male was taking turns fucking three desperate-looking\nelves. Drauug grinned and replied, \"Ah, those\nthree? They're quite desperate to be the one picked. There are so many pretty\nelves here that sometimes our customers have difficulty making up their minds\nand picking between them. That gent picked three that he liked and is trying\nthem all out to decide which one is the best fit for him.\"

The elves moaned and squealed as he pounded\nthem. \"They seem very... eager,\" Grumund said, watching with\nimpressed eyes. \"What happens to the ones who aren't selected? Are they...\nthey aren't punished, I hope?\"

Drauug laughed. \"No, certainly not. No\npunishments... we don't do punishments here. Only education.\" He sighed.\n\"But we also are a non-profit with a limited budget. Most of the girls\nhere for adoptions wouldn't be here if they were useful as breeders, so some\nwith skills might be taken to the farms to grow food or used to heal injured\nanimals. Most of them, however, will go to the wargs.\"

\"The wargs?\"\nGrumund asked, stunned. \"As... as food?\"

\"Gods no!\" Drauug said with a laugh.\n\"As much as the Run does for them, it's not everything, and the Wargs are\naggressive and virile enough they often need stress relief,\" Drauug\nexplained. \"So, we give any elf here a year to get herself adopted. If she\ndoesn't, then they move her in with the wargs to be useful and give her spot to\nsomeone else with a better chance to be adopted.\"

Grumund digested this information, realizing\nthat the elves' desperation stemmed from the harsh reality of their situation.\nThey had no doubt seen females in their position buried beneath the furry\nwargs... and would do anything to avoid that fate. Unlike the breeders, they\nwouldn't even get any relief from that fate after they were pregnant with\npuppies. After being thrust into control of his company, suddenly, he could\nrelate to the feeling that their fate was largely out of their power... and\nthey were clinging to the one thing they could use to help themselves.

As Grumund and Drauug continued their\nconversation, the red-haired elf that had caught Grumund's attention earlier\ncrawled over to them. Her eyes were filled with tears, and she began nuzzling\nat the bulge in Grumund's pants. He felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him\nas he realized he was more than a little aroused. Grumund wasn't sure how to react. On one hand,\nhe felt sympathy for the elf and her dire situation. On the other hand, he\ncouldn't deny the surge of excitement that coursed through him at the thought\nof the pretty thing.
